I have taught at the Jewish Theological Seminary, the University of Cincinnati, and currently I teach at Rutgers University. My courses intersect with Religious studies, Jewish studies, Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, Ethics, Anthropology, and Israel studies.
As an educator, I strive to inculcate a love of learning, and an appreciation for nuance. I devote time in my courses to relating material to contemporary issues, and I engage students in open debate about course material. I view my courses as an invitation—to engage in conversation during the semester and after.
